Where we come from

It’s hard to say when or where it began, but some of us remember Ansett, Compass, TAA, Lennies, Rio’s, Krondorf, Rosemount and Tolley’s.

I founded and operated a business called Adelaide Impressions Chauffeured Services for about 20 years.  It was there where minivans evolved to compliment and eventually surpass stretched limousines for popularity.

Proud to be South Aussie

Our roots are firmly planted in South Australian vineyard soil.  With no desire to expand interstate or “go global”, Adelaide Winery Tours engages local skills, experience and ideas to provide the best possible tour and transport experience.  Not the cheapest.  Not the largest fleet.  By design our 10-12 buses is THE number for us, housed inside our centrally located warehouse handy to the CBD, airport and Glenelg.  Adelaide Event Transport, Adelaide Airport Transfers, Adelaide Partybuses, Adelaide Brewery Tours – same place, same number, same experienced, helpful bunch of enthusiastic staff and drivers.

Today and tomorrow

An average week sees us conducting 15-20 regional & metropolitan tours, scores of local school transfers, numerous lifts to and from the airport, concerts, partybus cruises and wine bar hops. This website gives a fair impression of what we do and how we like to do it. Already we share work with many of the major transport and tourism operators in SA.

2022 is a most interesting time to be alive and in Adelaide.  How lucky are we really?  Live music is back, sport is back, interstate and overseas tourists are back. Our enquiry rate for Spring-Summber is at an all time high. We South Aussies have every reason to celebrate.

Working together

Helping each other is so easy. We are all busy at different times,  For us that time is SATURDAYS, with 4/5 of these fully booked during the day for tours. The other 158 hours of the week not so much, even Saturday nights we are rarely booked out. And pretty much the only time we are full during the week is when other bus opertors need a lot of excess work covered, ie morning and afternoon school and sports transfers and the like.

So there is A LOT of scope for us to help you, potentially including YOUR corporate livery, handing out your business cards and so on.  And there are certainly occasions where we need help on weekends.  Sounds simple, because it is.  🙂

Long term relationship

Many drivers have worked with us since the beginning.  We are all about the long game. Trust is a big thing when looking after each others’ clientelle, with transparent and honest communications paramount.
